Precious is the AAHS Adoptable Cat of the Week!

Precious was surrendered to animal control for having litter box issues that stemmed from being declawed. Since she has been at the shelter, she has showed none of these problems. She is a very sweet cat who is curious about her surroundings--she enjoys watching everything going on around her. She will meow for attention and likes getting her face and neck rubs, and she'll occasionally play with dangle toys when she's feeling frisky! Precious loves cat nip and lying on her fluffy beds to feel very royal.

Precious needs a new home that will be patient as she warms up to her new environment and people before she shows you her true, sweet self. She enjoys affection, but she just has a different way of showing it sometimes. Precious would do best in a home without other animals and with children old enough to respect her space.

Precious' Feline-ality is Sidekick: Like all sidekicks, I'm just plain good company. I like attention, and I also like my solitude. I don't go looking for trouble but I'm no scaredy-cat, either. If you are looking for a steady companion to travel with you on the road of life, look no further.
