Volunteers Still Needed for Classic City Brew Fest (benefiting AAHS)!
The Athens Area Humane Society still needs to fill half its volunteer spots for the Classic City Brew Fest This Sunday!
After our volunteer preview meeting on April 5, more than half of the volunteer slots still remain for Brew Fest THIS Sunday! This is one of AAHS's biggest fundraisers of the year and we can't do it without our volunteers. We must fill every space, and we are really counting on your help--please try to bring a friend or two to volunteer as well! It is a truly fun day!
BEING A BREW FEST VOLUNTEER IS GREAT FUN! We STILL need responsible volunteers!

- It's really fun to pour and be a part of the festival action (some say it's as much fun as attending).
- Volunteers are needed to help work the door, run the registration booths out front, and dump the dump buckets.
- Enjoy the fantastic volunteer after-party with beers and food.
- Free t-shirt and other goodies in it for you.
Volunteers must be at least 21 (photo IDs will be checked) and are NOT permitted to drink during the hours of the fest. There will be a preview volunteer meeting at Trappeze Pub in Athens on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 7:00pm for those who want to sign up in advance for their favorite tables. The mandatory meeting for all volunteers is at 11:30am sharp in the Foundry's Melting Point music hall on the day of the fest (April 15). All volunteers are encouraged to show up on festival day as early as 9:00am to help load beer--your help is greatly appreciated.
Please email Owen Ogletree if you'd like to volunteer. Be sure the word "volunteer" is in the subject field. NOTE: Due to the volume of volunteer emails, Owen cannot answer each one individually. You may preview the liability waiver that everyone will be asked to sign before entering the BrewFest.
