Breaking up Fight Sends Man to Hospital

Early Sunday morning, a police officer met at St. Mary's Hospital with the 21-year-old victim, who lives on Coleridge Court.  

The victim told the officer that he was breaking up a fight between two men at a party off of Old Elberton Road.  After hearing what he believed to be a gunshot, he ran to get in his car.  

When he began to open his car door, he realized he had been shot in his left hand.  The information that the victim provided to the police was very limited.
