Since 2022, comics have been creating their own opportunities and culture in the Classic City. In the wake of the pandemic locals began rebuilding their scene in Athens rock and roll fashion by starting open mics and showcases in partnership with local venues across the city.&nbsp;

These shows started a movement that has created a rich comedy culture in Athens. The Athens Comedy Fest now elevates the comedy scene to the next level with national headliners, touring comedians, and standout local talent with the second annual Athens Comedy Fest.&nbsp;

Note: This show features mature language and themes. Ages 18 &amp; up advised!

Tickets: Individual $25, All Shows Pass $65 - Includes the following: Entrance to the festival’s kick-off event at Live Wire Athens (Thursday, April 30), Early Entry to all shows at the Morton Theatre (Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2), ACF Merch &amp; Badge

It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. <a href="https://www.foxtheatre.org/community-partnerships-at-the-fox" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Fox Gives</a>, the philanthropic arm of the Fox Theatre, and <a href="https://jitteryjoes.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Jittery Joe's Coffee</a>will host a pop-up coffee event at the historic Morton Theatre on Wednesday, May 13, from 1-3 p.m. to mark the launch of Fox Theatre Blue Sky Blend
and celebrate National Historic Preservation Month. The collaboration brings together two Georgia-rooted institutions with a shared commitment to community and preservation of historic landmarks.
Developed in partnership with the Athens-based roaster, the Fox-branded coffee carries that work forward through a broader statewide effort with 15 percent of all sales benefiting Fox Gives. Proceeds support preservation grants, educational programs and partnerships that help sustain historic theaters and expand access to the arts across Georgia. The activation underscores the importance of continued investment in communities, including performing arts spaces like Athens’ Morton Theatre, a recent Fox Gives grant recipient. The coffee is available for purchase in the <a href="https://www.foxtheatre.org/visit-us-page/gift-shop" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Fox Theatre Gift Shop</a> and <a href="https://jitteryjoes.com/products/fox-theatre-blue-sky-blend?_pos=1&amp;_sid=e9d8d59f5&amp;_ss=r" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">jitteryjoes.com</a>.
The event is open to the public, with guests invited to enjoy complimentary samples of the Fox Theatre Blue Sky Blend alongside a selection of desserts with networking opportunities and unique Fox Theatre giveaways.
