Cedar Shoals HS JROTC Raider Teams Compete Nationally
Cedar Shoals HS JROTC Raider teams take part in the Army National Raider competition this past weekend.
On November 8th and 9th the male, female, and mixed teams from the Cedar Shoals High School JROTC Jaguar Battalion competed in the National Raider Championship at Camp Thunder at Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base in Molena, GA.
Against 92 teams from 20 states, the mixed team placed 3rd in the rope bridge event and 7th overall. The male and female teams placed in the top 10.
In addition to competing, CSHS was tasked by Sports Network International to run the events as well. The three Army instructors who lead the program at Cedar Shoals are LTC Eric Cleveland, 1SG Antione Clark, and SFC Michael Bradford. The Jaguar Battalion will host the Classic City Drill Meet Invitational on February 7th.
