Central Label Products Employee Finds Cleaning Chemical in Water Bottle

An employee of Central Label Products found a cleaning chemical in his water bottle Thursday, according to an Athens Clarke County Police report.

The employee called police after he smelled the chemical ethyl acetate in his water bottle. He had ingested a small amount before realizing the chemical was possibly in the water bottle. 

Poison control assured police that the small amount consumed would not do any damage. Police were unable to determine how the chemical contaminated the water bottle.
