The Clean House

Town & Gown’s last SECOND STAGE show of the 63rd Season is “The Clean House” by Sarah Ruhl. Opening Fri, August 26th and running till Sun, August 28th.

The story of a reluctant Brazilian maid, Matilde (Gay McCommons), who longs to be a comedienne, her demanding boss-of-a-doctor, Lane (Terrell Austin), the doctor’s wandering surgeon husband, Charles (Steve Elliott-Gower), his beautiful and unlikely lover, Ana (Pilar Chamorro), and Virginia (Ginny Simmons), the sister who needs to dust, “The Clean House” offers a funny, poignant, and moving tale about the drama of life and love, and the struggle to keep it all tidy.

Directed by Bryn Adamson, who recently delivered up “The Graduate” to Town and Gown’s MAIN STAGE.
