Peace family,
I have been working with a group of concerned citizens in Athens since last March to establish a LGBT Community Center.
We have been very fortunate that the former Common Ground organization has been instrumental in helping us secure 501c3 status and some initial funding.
We now in serious need of diverse and experienced board members.
Being a board member, among other things, involves a two year commitment; a financial contribution; regular attendance at monthly Board meetings; directing the organization; helping to implement a fundraising campaign, etc.

Our first event will a Game Night held on Tuesday, November 12 at the Coffeeshop of Athens from 7-9pm.
Bring your friends and favorite board games for a night of coffee and fun! Game Night is free and all ages are welcome to attend.
We are working hard to establish the Common Ground LGBT Community Center in Athens. Please bring a donation, if you are able.
