Crime Stoppers Offers Reward For Information About Eastside Murder

There's a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the July 7 murder of David Mack Collins and the shooting of Anthony Gray Coleman in Tivoli Apartments.
Investigators from the Athens Clarke County Police department and the Athens field office of the GBI believe the shooting wasn't a random act of violence. And that there was a relationship between the three men involved in the incident--the two victims and the man who left in a silver sedan. And also there a "commodity" of some sort that was involved, according to a police press release.
Police continue to encourage citizens to call Detective Jonathan Patterson at 706-613-3888 X 303 or Detective Gene Hamilton at 706-613-3888 X 292 with any information regarding the shooting at Tivoli Apartments.
