Woman Reports Daylight Robbery

A woman told police that on April 13th she was walking in the 300 block of East Clayton Strett during the daylight hours. She wasn't sure about the exact time of incident. She heard a woman calling for help. The woman needing help told the woman she had twisted her ankle and needed help getting to her car. The complainant was assisting the injured woman when the woman slammed her to the ground and another woman and a man began to kick her. The three suspects grabbed her purse and several other items and ran away.

A man reported that someone forcibly entered his Edgewood Drive residence on April 13 between 10:00AM and 1:00PM and took a drill.

A woman told police someone entered her Berry Driver residence on April 13 between 7:00PM and 8:30 PM and took her pocketbook.

Officers responded to Intown Suites, 2044 S Milledge Ave on April 13 at 12:48pm in reference to an assault. A woman told officers she had been assaulted by George Powell, who had cut and punched her during an altercation. Powell was arrested and the woman was taken for treatment.

On April 14, police officers responded to 1390 Danielsville Rosd in response to a stabbing that had occurred at 1:13 AM. The scene was chaotic upon arrival. The victim was not at the scene. Contacted by phone, he then returned to be interviewed. He had sustained a significant cut on his arm. This incident remains under investigation.
