Dive in to the wonders of water at the 7th annual Athens Water Festival

You're invited to this family-friendly event!

Discover creatures from the sea, become an artist by painting a rain water collection barrel, and experience the magic of H2O! With open-ended activities, participants of all ages enjoy the activities at the Athens Water Festival. Bring a swimsuit and splash in Lake Chapman or be sprayed by our water trucks. These activities are just a drop in the bucket! Come out to this family-friendly event that is always dripping with fun.

  • Park admission is $2 per person for ages 4-64; activities at the festival are free!
  • Saturday, September 10th from 10:30am-2:30am
  • Sandy Creek Park, 400 Bob Holman Road, Athens, GA
  • Bring a refillable water bottle for filling at our water station.
  • Some schools offer extra credit for attendance - check with your child's teacher.
  • Food available for a small fee.
