Driver Backs Out of Parking Space, Hits Pedestrian, Drives Away

A 35-year-old Homer woman was walking through the parking lot of the Alps Shopping Center when she was struck from behind by a vehicle that had been backing out from a parking space.
The vehicle that his the woman was a medium blue (possibly metallic blue) Honda Civic with Georgia license plate. The driver got out and apologized to the victim, then re-entered her vehicle and drove away.
The driver was described as a white female, 40-46 years old, 5’06”-5’07”, 170-180 pounds with shoulder-length “frizzy” blonde hair. The victim received minor injuries and declined EMS.
