Join Garden staff and volunteers for this creepy, crawly, and definitely fun family festival. Discovery stations, roach and beetle races, an insect café hosted by Chef Daniella Martin, puppet shows and, of course, lots of live insects will also highlight this year’s event. Children can complete a series of discovery station activities to receive a special insect prize. At 11 a.m. we will host our annual butterfly release on the lawn of the International Garden. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to view dozens of native butterflies flap their wings above your head. Insect-ival is sponsored by the Garden, EarthShare of Georgia, the UGA Lund Club, the UGA Department of Entomology and the Georgia Museum of Natural History. Pre-registration is not required.
