Learn the basics of honey bees. We will discuss honey bees’ importance in the food chain, the history of beekeeping, what goes on inside the bee hive and what is involved to become a backyard beekeeper. For those who would like to become beekeepers, the class will be expanded to a hands-on course in the future to get you ready to have your own bees next spring.
