The ACC Library will hold a special event, so patrons can learn more about their ancestors. Join library staff for dinner and learn about databases, web sites and tools you can use from home. You will also learn about the new and improved Heritage Room, which will reopen in 2013. If you do not want to attend the classes, you can spend the evening researching online or in the Heritage Room. Attendees will have the second floor of the library to ourselves after the library closes at 6:00 p.m.
This event is free, but pre-registration is required. To register, call (706) 613-3650, ext. 350 or email heritageroom@arlsmail.org and give your name, phone number and email address.
This event is co-sponsored by the Clarke-Oconee Genealogical Society, the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library, and the Heritage Room.
