"An Ideal Husband"

The Town and Gown Players present "An Ideal Husband," a tale of political intrigue brimming with Oscar Wilde’s signature wit. The curtain goes up at 8:00pm Thursday thru Saturday with a matinee on Sunday at 2:00pm. Call 706-208-8696 between 10:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Saturday to make reservations.

This ensemble piece is set at the turn of the 19th century and delves into themes of love, passion, and betrayal. Making use of both humor and suspence, "An Ideal Husband" draws a picture of a society struggling with issues still relevant today. It is revealed that the man thought to be perfect is flawed, the man who seems to have all the flaws must do what is right, and the question remains: What makes an ideal husband?
