Proceeds from the film screenings will help raise funds for the rebuilding and viability of the Theatre. On Friday, April 22, Cine will host a catered reception at 6:00pm and a screening at 7:15pm, followed by a filmmaker Q&A and live music by Bloodkin, an Athens band featured in the film. The film opens with the burning of the historic theater in the summer of 2009, and then starts over chronologically, thoroughly covering the history of the Athens Music Scene from the 1970s through the present.
