Athens PopFest, a multi-day festival music and arts festival, will be held at various venues in downtown Athens on October 12 thru Ocotber 15. Mike Turner of HHBTM Records founded the festival in 2004. The Athens PopFest Foundation is a non-profit Georgia corporation and scholarship-granting body that is committed to promoting Athens as a particularly unique destination for travelers interested arts and music, providing scholarships to graduates of Athens' high school who have chosen a college major in the arts and supporting our own home-grown music and arts scene and creating an event each year that draws attendees and performers from all over the world.

The Poptober Fair record fair/craft show/'zine & small publishing show will take place at The Classic Center on October 15.
