Michael Gray, the author of The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia and Song & Dance Man III: The Art Of Bob Dylan, will give a lecture titled: “Bob Dylan and the Poetry of the Blues.” Gray will use records and rare footage to show how Dylan has been inspired by the blues and how much one can find the poetry of the blues in Dylan's highly influential writing.
This event, sponsored by the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, English Department and the Institute for African American Studies, will be held in Room 101 at the Miller Learning Center.
