Sue Lawrence, executive director of the Jeannette Rankin Foundation, will present a program about Rankin, the first woman elected to the U.S. Congress in 1916. Rankin was a devoted advocate for women's rights, and today the Jeannette Rankin Foundation carries on her spirit through its scholarship fund for women. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to this 45-minute program, which will be held in the small conference room.
