The Athens-Clarke County Departments of Leisure Services and Solid Waste will hold a Cans for Critters Celebration on Wednesday, June 22 at 9:30am at the black bear exhibit at Bear Hollow Zoo. This special event will mark the end of the Cans for Critters program with a presentation of a check in the amount of $1,000 from Novelis, headquartered in Atlanta.
