Capoeira Angola is an Afro-Brazilian art form that incorporates music and dance with the concepts and techniques of self-defense. Capoeira promotes emotional, physical and mental well-being as well as creative self-expression and group cohesion through cooperation. Instructor Jasper Jordan has trained in Brazil and the U.S, and taught youth and adult Capoeira Angola classes in Atlanta and Athens. Thursday classes for all-levels meet from 7:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday classes for all-ages meet from 9:30am to 11:00am.
