Fly, Sally, Fly! A True Story of Sally’s Flight to Freedom is a heartwarming, rags-to-riches tale for all animal lovers. Abandoned, abused and neglected pit bull Sally learns the value of trust and friendship in her human companions as she flies across the country to a new and loving home, all because of the unselfish deeds of everyday Good Samaritans. New author Kacy Allen Tedder shares Sally’s story of love and prosperity with audiences of all ages in this real-life inspired tale of survival.
Author Kacy Allen Tedder lives in Hoschton, Georgia, just outside of Athens with her husband, Josh, sons Josiah and Asher, and pit bull mix, Brian. A former classroom teacher and current school library media specialist at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Kacy has spent all of her life surrounded by books and educating young people. Growing up in rural South Georgia, her love for animals began at an early age and continues to endure today. Through volunteer work with dog rescue, Kacy has been able to fulfill a life-long dream of helping abused, abandoned and neglected animals, experiencing memorable and endearing moments that can be shared with others. Kacy’s first book, Fly, Sally, Fly! A True Story of Sally’s Flight to Freedom, presents one of many of her heart-warming stories of true love and survival.
