Heirloom Cafe is excited to announce an upcoming children's class on making your own herbal paper, taught by our beloved morning staffer, Keara Connor. Keara is the former art director for the Greensboro Children’s Museum, and has come to Athens to pursue a graduate degree in Art Education. This is the last class of the series called The Secret Life of Herbs, where some lucky kids learned how to make herbal tea and reusable tea bags, potpourri pillows, and herb wreaths. For this upcoming class on paper making, we will be creating handmade works of art that can be used for stationary, and of course the approaching gift giving season! Class is limited to 10 participants. Snacks and juice are provided as well. We hope to see you soon.
