"Civil War Voices"

The Classic Center and the UGA Performing Arts Center will present Civil War Voices, a show that offers a fresh way of looking at America's defining conflict. Written by James R. Harris, Civil War Voices draws on diares, letters and other writings of the characters portrayed in the show. It also features music from the period with original arrangements by Mark Hayes.

The play portrays the courage, sacrifice, personal suffering and triumph of the people and time that diviided our nation and makes the Civil War period come alive.
