
The City of Colbert will hold its 42nd annual Fourth of July Parade and Celebration with a parade that will begin at 9 a.m. Veterans of the Korean War will serve as grand marshals.
The celebration will also feature arts and crafts, a horseshoe tournament and numerous events for children. The Eberhart cabin, one of the oldest structures in Colbert and the Railroad Museum will be open.The Colbert Lions Club will sell barbecue plates for $8 each.
The Holman Autry Band will perform along with the Donnie Burroughs Band; Danny Anthony; and the Bill Ashley Group will perform a bluegrass and gospel music. For more information, call (706) 783-2311.
