In this contemporary class fueled by expressive, melodic, unique, danceable music, we’ll warm up but more than anything, we’ll dance- center floor and across the floor. My choreography is based in ballet fundamentals but will push you to express yourself through dance. I believe in the expression and exploration of dance within music rather than the confines of counts (ironic that my maiden name is “Counts”). Don’t worry we’ll still have counts, they just won’t be front and center. You will. Inspired by graham and ballet fundamentals this class is accesible to both beginners and intermediate level dancers.
