The Georgia Museum of Art, in conjunction with the exhibition “Dalí Illustrates Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy," will present a lecture by Lynn Boland, Pierre Daura Curator of European Art. Boland will provide a brief history of the Surrealist movement and its underlying theories along with an overview of Dalís art. The turbulent relationship Dalí had with other Surrealists, which colored his later career, will also be explored. The exhibition was organized by the Las Cruces Museum of Art, Las Cruces, N.M.
