EcoFocus Special Event: "General Orders No. 9" with Reception, Filmmaker and Composer in Attendance

Awarded for its visionary cinematography, "General Orders No. 9"  contemplates the signs of loss and change in the American South. The culmination of over 11 years of work from first time writer-director (and Georgia native) Robert Persons, "General Ordrers No. 9" tells the epic story of the clash between nature and man's progress. A reception will be held at 6 p.m., the film, screened at 7 p.m., will be accompanied by a live musical performance by composer Chris Hoke and followed by a conversation with filmmaker Robert Persons. Co-sponsored by EcoFocus Film Festival, Ciné, and The National.
