The 2011 GWS Members' Exhibition judged by Stan Miller, American Watercolor Society signature member, is a competitive exhibition for members of the Georgia Watercolor Society. All paintings are one-of-a kind works with water based media as the dominant element. Some works are on watercolor canvas and may be varnished or waxed or include water media collage elements.
A closing reception, scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 12 to 2 p.m., will be preceded by a painting demonstration in the LHAC painting studio from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. These Saturday events are a great opportunity for the public to meet some of the watercolor artists and talk with them about their works.
The Lyndon House gallery hours are Tuesday thru Thursday from 12 t0 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
