The ACC Library will present "Secrecy" as part of its iFilms series. Relentless in its pursuit of the unvarnished truth, "Secrecy" shines a light into the dark, unseen world of government secrecy. This film takes measure of the tension between security and freedom and investigates whether press reports lead to the death of American soldiers. It also explores if secrecy led to horrendous human rights abuses in the War on Terror. Through revealing interviews with a fascinating host of characters such as secrecy-averse reporters, former CIA agents, military attorneys and regular citizens whose lives have been touched by the government's most closely guarded programs, directors Peter Galison and Robb Moss brilliantly dissect the way the power and allure of secrecy affects the course of history. The fill will run for 81 minutes and will be screened in the Auditorium.
