The project consists of extending the Jennings Mill Parkway from Commerce Boulevard to Huntington Road. The project also includes the extension of Old Mill Center Boulevard from its current cul-de-sac to intersection with the Jennings Mill Parkway.
The roadway will be constructed with two 11-foot travel lanes, a 5-foot bicycle lane, curb and gutter, and a sidewalk on the southern side. A 6-foot by 6-foot box culvert and a retaining wall are also proposed along Jennings Mill Parkway. The project is expected to be under construction by Spring 2012 and will be funded with SPLOST 2005 program funds.
