"Locally Grown," sponsored by the Junior Ladies Garden Club, is a juried flower show open to the public. It will feature more than 20 floral arrangements inspired by the work of local artists, which will also be on display. The show, with over 150 specimens of horticulture grown by the members of the Junior Ladies Garden Club, will provide attendees knowledge of plants that can thrive in the local environment. The event will also showcase the works of more than 20 children who will design floral arrangements and display photographs alongside that of their mothers. An exhibit, curated by Rinne Allen, illustrating the importance of locally grown food will be on display.
