Avid Bookshop is excited to announce a night with Gary Doster, local Athenian, wildlife biologist, Georgia memorabilia collector, and author. He will read from his new book in the Postcard History Series: Athens. This book, written in conjunction with Doster’s granddaughter, Emily Jean Doster, examines the history of Athens, Georgia through postcards sent by and to residents of the city. This is sure to be an exciting and intriguing look into the past!
The June 3rd event will begin at 4:00 pm sharp at Avid Bookshop and last until 5:00 pm.
