Magdalena Zurawski’s novel The Bruise won the Ronald Sukenick Prize for Innovative Fiction and the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Debut Fiction. She is currently writing a manuscript of poetry called, Companion Animal. A PhD candidate in American Literature at Duke University, she co-curates the Minor American Poetry Series in Durham, NC.
