
Avid Bookshop is thrilled to announce the next installment of New Town Revue on Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Stephen Brooks will read "Voice(s)(outhern)," about his distinctive Alabama accent, which recently appeared in storySouth. Stephen is also a songwriter and will be doing a couple songs accompanied by a pedal steel player. Kristen Iskandrian will be reading from her short story which recently appeared in Tin House.

Stephen Brooks writes fiction, essays, poems, and songs. He teaches at the University of Georgia and received his MFA from the University of Arizona.
