The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the Trial Gardens at UGA and the UGA Horticultural Club have joined forces to create "Plantapalooza." Three spring plant sales will take place simultaneously, one at the State Botanical Garden, one at the Trial Gardens at UGA and one at the UGA Horticultural Club venue. Each sale will feature a different assortment of garden plants and all locations will have horticulturists, volunteers and Master Gardeners on hand at to help people with their plant selections.
The State Botanical Garden will have Georgia Gold Medal Plants noted among its broad selection. The Garden has a successful Certificate in Native Plants program and has recently launched its Native Plant Initiative, so many native plants will be available for purchase. The Garden Gift Shop, featuring gardening books and locally crafted items, will also be open.
