The Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services presents Popsicles and Playgrounds as part of a month-long celebration of July is National Park and Recreation Month
This free program invites families with children ages 2 to 12 to visit the newest playgrounds within ACC Leisure Services. Department staff will be onsite serving complimentary popsicles from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Reese and Pope Park’s playground, located at 375 Pope Street, is the location for Popsicles and Playgrounds on Saturday, July 2. This playground, located blocks from downtown Athens, features a spider web climbing apparatus and is well shaded.
