The Athens-Clarke County Departments of Leisure Services and Public Works and Transportation will hold a public information open house on Wednesday, December 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department Auditorium. The forum will allow members of the community to view a proposed design schematic for a new pedestrian bridge at Sandy Creek Park.
The meeting will have no formal presentation. Instead, it will feature a drop in format. Citizens will have the opportunity to comment on the schematic design and talk with Athens-Clarke County staff who are assisting with the bridge project.
