The Spirited Spelling Spectacular Fundraiser is an adult spelling bee of 16 community teams. Doc Eldridge will serve as the word pronouncer and local judges will judge the teams. The event will also feature a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres reception and a cash bar. Proceeds benefit the Athens-Clarke Literacy Council.
