Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services and the Athens Astronomical Association present a star gazer event, “Geminid Meteors and More . . ." Come out to view the Geminid meteor shower, Venus, cloud belts, the moons of
Jupiter and the winter constellations.
Telescopes will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. If you are thinking about buying a telescope for a Christmas present, then come out to the park and get expert selection advice.
The price is $2 per person upon entrance to the park. There will be no charge for SCP permit holders. Pre-registration is not required.
