Class Two in the series “Searching for Your Family Members”. You do not have to attend all five classes.
In this class, we will explore everyday records and sources that we often do not think about. Using pedigree charts and family group sheets, we will look at how to identify places to find our ancestors and how to understand the place and time they lived. Some of the sources to be covered will be non-population census schedules, special or local censuses, church records, cemetery records, school records, and substitutes for vital records. Please bring any ancestral/pedigree charts and family group sheets you may have to this class.
