The Taste Your P.L.A.C.E. Kick-Off will launch the annual two-week extravaganza hosted by P.L.A.C.E. (Promoting Local Agriculture and Cultural Experiences). P.L.A.C.E. believes that through the simple act of eating and taking the time to enjoy a meal using local ingredients, people can taste the difference in quality and freshness of locally-grown food. Events at the Athens Farmer's Market on Saturday include cooking demonstrations and blueberry-themed activities for kids.
