Join us on Thursday January 19, 2012 for the opening reception of "DRAWN: from Athens", the first exhibit under the direction of the Gallery@Hotel Indigo-Athens' new curator, Didi Dunphy. Admission is FREE! Hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and live music will be provided for your enjoyment.
"DRAWN: from Athens" is an exploration of drawing as an essential creative act - where ideas are played with, investigated, edited, and refined. This exhibit will feature the works of 11 North Georgia-Based artists: James Barsness, Jamie Bull, Lauren Gallaspy, Susan Hable, Clay McLaurin, Michael Oliveri, Jeff T. Owens, Leslie Snipes, Art Rosenbaum, Jessica Wohl, and Kathryn Refi.
Also opening on January 19th will be the latest installation in the GlassCube@Hotel Indigo-Athens. "Look for Light" by Michael Oliveri will feature butterfly-inspired florescent chandeliers. It is a visual experience like no other!
