Tracking Our Ancestors' Footsteps: More Mobile Than We Think

Class Five in the series "Searching For Your Family Members". You do not have to attend all five classes.

We are a nation of immigrants and once our ancestors got here, they did not quit moving.  This class will briefly describe the basics of immigration, naturalization, and migration.  We will learn about geographic tools such as maps, atlases, gazetteers and how to use them.  Also how GoogleEarth, GoogleMaps, and newspapers can help our research.  Types of DNA testing and why to use it will also be briefly introduced.
