Transition Expo for Parents of Students with Learning Disabilities

The 2012 Northeast Georgia Transition Expo and Conference will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Tate Center at UGA.

This expo is for families of students with learning challenges or disabilities. Families may visit exhibitors, explore college and life after high school options, attend learning sessions and more.

Admission is free. Exhibits open at 9 a.m. and learning sessions start at 9:30 a.m. and will focus on Medicaid waivers, transition at various stages of education (in English and Spanish), wills and guardianship and more. To learn more about specific learning sessions visit www.negaresa.org.
