The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will host Turtle Torpor Time on Saturday, December 10 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Bear Hollow Zoo.
Participants learn about the difference between hibernation and torpor. Activities at the event will include a story, live animal presentation and a craft.
The fee is $3 for Athens-Clarke County residents and $5 for non-county residents. For more information or to register for this program, call 706-613-3616, ext. 22.
