Do you have a story to tell? The Athens-Clarke County Library and Lyndon House Arts Center invite you to “Telling Your Story,” a free, four-session workshop to help you develop a true story from your own life starting on Thursday, July 11.
The process of preparing a story to tell is a team sport. So, as you work on your story, you will also help the other members of the workshop develop theirs. The first three sessions of the workshops (July 11, 18 and 25) will take place at Athens-Clarke County Library. The last session, held at Lyndon House Arts Center on Aug. 8, will be an opportunity to practice performing for a small audience of invited family and friends. Performing your story is optional. Some preparation outside of class is expected. Each session will run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Workshop participants must be available to attend all four sessions and can attend either in person or online from home. To register for this free workshop contact Madeline Darnell by email or phone at 706-613-3623. Space is limited. Please register by Tuesday, July 9.
