Federation of Neighborhoods Presents Engaging Athens through UGA Service-Learning. Monday, February 2nd at Cine in the Lab

The Federation of Neighborhoods - Athens Clarke County, GA invites you to hear and be heard at the first FoN forum of 2015 on Monday, February 2, 7:30pm at Ciné: Engaging Athens Through UGA Service-Learning.

Engaging Athens Through UGA Service-Learning will introduce you to two UGA Office of Service-Learning outreach programs: Experience UGA and Campus Kitchen. Audience and panelists will discuss how Athens community members can partner in these and other hands-on learning experiences, and the benefits of doing so. Panelists will include faculty, staff, and students from the University of Georgia involved in these growing initiatives to experientially engage with the Athens community.

Explore the rewards of service-learning activities to town as well as gown. The forum is free and open to the public. Athens Area Chamber of Commerce provides free parking for this event in the lot adjacent to Ciné. Ciné is located at 234 West Hancock Avenue in downtown Athens, call 706-353-3343 for directions.
