Fireflies and Fairies at Memorial Park

Make tracks to Bear Hollow Zoo in Memorial Park for a magical night of
“fireflies and fairies” at Zoo Day 2013 on Saturday, August 24 from 6:00 – 9:00
p.m.
 
The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will host Zoo Day 2013 featuring live music, interactive animal encounters, and story-telling. This event is all about exploring the "little things" in your backyard, including frogs, snakes, and the unseen animals of the night.

The public is encouraged to help make the night enchanted by wearing fairy wings, glow necklaces, and mythical costumes. This is a family-friendly event.   The fee for this event is $2 per person for Athens-Clarke County residents and $3 per person for non-residents.
